Demand and Viability

The original business case cannot apply following  the banking collapse, hotel expansion in Liverpool             and the collapse of golf as a pastime.
No independent assessment has been done to decide the future of this aspirational land.
Council is seemingly unaware of the many websites offering golf resorts and private clubs for sale.
Council cannot sell the courses it owns because golf is declining in interest and developers cannot be             found.
Why is Liverpool not a better choice as "Capital of The Golf Coast"?

After BBC TV's "Dark Side of the Greens", what confidence is there that the scheme will be completed,                 not left as a building site?
Membership will be unnaffordable to people on average wage.

This is not "Sustainable Development" according to government Planning guidelines.
